How much is my home worth?

History of K.O.

K.O. Real Estate was founded by owner-broker Karen Frisone (CRB, CRS, GRI, PMN,
WBENC Certified) in 1995, but traces its roots in the Colorado real estate market to the mid-1980s when Ms. Frisone moved to Westminster from Michigan. The heart and soul of her experience, and what led to the mission of K.O. Real Estate today, was seven years spent in property management in Breckenridge, CO in what was something of a real estate recession.

“I learned every aspect of asset preservation – how to manage vacant properties, how to take care of broken pipes and everything else,” says Frisone. “To this day, I take this product knowledge into every relationship our company engages and I believe strongly that few other brokers can bring this level of expertise to every buyer and seller we are lucky enough to call ‘client.’”

Today, the full-service real estate brokerage K.O. Real Estate focuses on two key principles: people and product. People, because buying and selling real estate is an educational process that gives individuals the tools they need to make an informed decision. Product, because understanding every aspect of the real estate transaction leads directly to success.

And success pays off: K.O. Real Estate Managing Broker Karen Frisone took top honors from the Denver Board of Realtors 2010 Roundtable of Excellence Awards for being the leading seller in the entire Denver metro area in money volume ($41.3 million) and transactions closed (256). Moreover, this came on the heels of being #1 in transactions (189) and #2 in sales volume ($27.7 million) for 2009. This represents a lot of satisfied customers, year after year, and that tradition continues today at K.O. Real Estate.
